Environmental Responsibility 

ZFC was certified to the SAZ ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System (EMS) standard in July 2006. The scope of the EMS covers the Head office, Coventry Road Depot (CRD) as well as the Aspindale, Msasa and Kwekwe plants.  The first surveillance audit was conducted in February 2007 and the company maintained its certification status.

The Behaviour Based Safety Programme
The Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) concept was introduced at Aspindale in June 2005. This has seen an improvement in the ZFC safety record.

The Integrated Management System
Beginning of 2007, ZFC commenced implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS). This system is responsive to the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAs 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standards.
